  • Instigate the grant funded Feasibility Study to identify potential sites along the Colly Brook and to ascertain the likely output of power generated.
  • Provide information to generate discussion of the project among villagers and with the Association.
  • Develop the project plan, gain under-standing of the benefits and improve the desired outcomes.
  • The objective of the PTCH plan is to benefit everyone in the community.

Rural Community Energy Fund (RCEF)

The Feasibility Study is supported by funding from RCEF. RCEF is a £15 million programme, delivered by WRAP and jointly funded by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) and the Department of Energy & Climate Change (DECC). It supports rural communities in England to develop renewable energy projects which provide economic and social benefits to the community.
